    Stories and Notes Oldcom10 Hamilton to Hamilton Connection: Just a quick note: I dont believe there is any connection between William H. Hamilton and William Alexander Hamilton. (Alexander was born around 1833 in Kentucky) William H, was born in 1811 Ohio. William H. was a "bound out child" and at age 10 only knew his name as William. I believe he was bound out from the town of Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio so he actually could have been known as "William of Hamilton", which may have been how he had gotten his name.

    • Can't find info on parents many have tryed. He was an Orphan. It is believed that he was orphaned in the town of Hamilton and this is how and where he got his last name. This was the old story passed down by my mother
