Herman, 1514 West Market street, died yesterday morning at 7:50 o'clock at the York hospital, from a complication of diseases following an illness of two months. The deceased was 55 years old and besides his wife, is survived by two children, Dorcas and Rodney Herman, both at home. He was a member of St. Stephens's Reformed church and was affiliated with York Castle, No. 34, Ancient Order Knights of the Mystic Chain. The deceased was also a member of the Reliance Fire company and the Volunteer Relief association of the same company. He was employed at the York Corrugating company. The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home, 1514 West Market street. Interment will be in Prospect Hill cemetery.
