      This deed between William Dyer and his wife Rhoda Dyer of -----------County by Wiley Whitaker of Magoffin County this true and lawful attorney in fact of the first part and John Neal of the second part witnessed that the said party of the firs t part in consideration of fifty dollars in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged do hereby sell, grant and convey to the second part, his heirs and assigns the following described property void. Lying on the Lick fork in Middl e Creek in Floyd County and bounded as follows. Beginning on the North West corner of John Neal?s slave house thence running up the hill, a north course to the top of the ridge, a west course to W. D. Whitaker Line thence running down to the rid ge with said line crossing the creek and up the hill to the top to Robert Baldridge line crossing the left -------fork to the top of the ridge to George Stephens line thence with the top of said ridge down the conditional line made by Benjamin H amilton and David Hamilton his father thence down with said line to the end of the lane thence with said line to the----------to have and to hold the same with all that appearances therein to the second party his heirs and assignees forever. Wit h covenant of General Warranty, In Testimony where of witnesses and signatures this 20th day of August 1878

Whitaker Attorney in fact for the said William Dyer and Rhoda Dyer his wife to be their act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned and the same with this certificate has this day be en duly recorded in my office----------under my hand on this 28th day of August 1878
