      After Jessie and Homer married and moved to Somer Township and their children were born, she became ill. This continued for 2 years until on January 15, 1883 Homer sold everything and moved her to Siloam Springs, Ark. in an attempt to restore he r health. But her health continued to decline. She had a great desire to return to the place of her childhood, thus Homer brought her home to Champaign Co., IL where she died later.
