Agnes L. Kirley Agnes L. Kirley, age 95, of Columbus Care Center, died Tuesday, March 5, 1985, at Columbus Community Hospital. She was born on June 17, 1889, in Lost Lake, to John B. and Mary Ann (Gerard) Salzman. She married Edward H. Kirley o n June 17, 1919, in Columbus, who preceded her in death in 1962. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Doylestown, and was an organist at the church for many years. She helped her husband run the general store in Doylestown for ov er 55 years. She is survived by a son, Edward R. (Adeline) Kirley, Madison; a daughter, Marie (Richard) Fendry, Milwaukee, a sister, Blanche Rynda, Ironwood, Michigan; a sister-in-law, Lela Salzman, Portage; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandch ildren; nieces and nephews. She was further preceded in death by a son, Maurice, who died February 22, 1979; three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 7, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Doylesto wn, with Father Donald Beckius officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Vangen Funeral Home, Rio was in charge of arrangements.
