Mrs. Frank Conery Dies Following Long Illness Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. Frank Conery at the Thompson and the Rio Lutheran church Tuesday, Nov. 2, by the Rev. E. W. Wilson. Mrs. Conery died Sunday morning. Oct. 31 following a lon g illness. She was 79 years of age. Mrs. George Schultz accompanied the Rev. Mr. Wilson in the singing of "Sweet Hour of Prayer" and "Rock of Ages". Pallbearers were Fred and Lawrence Crinion of Beaver Dam, Robert Sommerfeldt of Wausau, Henry Pe ters, Jr., of Tomahawk, William Kumbier of Wausau and Arthur Nielson of Rio. Mrs. Conery was born Marie Elizabeth Gadow in Germany on October 29, 1869. She came to America in 1873. On April 6, 1884 she was confirmed in the Lutheran church at Bea ver Dam. She had lived in the Rio vicinity about 40 years. In 1889 she was married to Frank Conery who later was killed in a train accident on Nov. 17, 1913. Eight children were born to them. Children living are William of Rio; Viola, Mrs. Henr y Peters of Tomahawk; LeRoy of Doylestown; Beatrice, Mrs. Arnold Behrends of Wausau; Harold of Rio; David of Spokane, Wash. Two children Ruth and Earl, preceded Mrs. Crinion in death. There are also five grandchildren and several nieces and neph ews living.
