Anderson Clark Anderson, 85, Cornell, died early Tuesday morning at the Rusk County Memorial Hospital, Ladysmith. He was born Dec. 29, 1893 in Boyceville, the son of John Anderson and Jennie Blakely. In his early adulthood, he moved to Arnold. H e enlisted in the U.S. Army July 23, 1918 and was assigned to Company F Infantry and served in France during World War I. He was a member of the York Koler American Legion Post 316, Sheldon. He farmed most of his life and was also an electrician . He is survived by his wife Kathryn McMahon; three sons William, Minneapolis, Robert, Zion, Ill., and Ralph, Waukegan, Ill.; a brother Howard; two sisters Mildred, St. Paul, and Mrs. Hazel DuChaine, Rockford, Ill.; and two grandchildren. A fune ral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Christ, Sheldon, with the Rev. Ronald Jarett officiating. Internment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cornell Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Wednesday and at the chu rch before the service Thursday.
