Ladwig, George F. Doylestown - George F. Ladwig, age 90 of Doylestown, died on Wednesday, February 10, 1988, at his home. He was born on March 28, 1897, in the Township of Fountain Prairie, the son of Frank and Anna (Strange) Ladwig. He was empl oyed by the Borden Company for many years, until his retirement in 1961. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Doylestown. He was married to the former Winifred Kirley on September 16, 1939. He is survived by his wife, Winifred o f Doylestown; two sons, Robert (Cheryl) of Brooklyn, Wisconsin, and Niel (Christine) of Randolph; four daughters, Georgia (Vincent) Fitzgerald of Madison, Carol (William) Thran of Rio, Joyce (Augie) List of Sun Prairie, and Julie (Blayne) VanCam p of Townsend, Montana; a sister Verna Erdman of Rio; a brother, William Ladwig of Rio; 15 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred and Henry; two sisters, Leona Greenway and Theresa Marthaler ; a son, Allen in 1964; a grandson Scott Fitzgerald in 1981; and both parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 1988, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Doylestown, with Father Donald Beckius officiating. B urial will follow in the parish cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, February 12, 1988, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., at the funeral home where a scripture service will held at 7:30 p.m.
