On a slab in front of the alter siege is a curious full-sized brass in memory of Elizabeth, daughter to Henry, Lord Ferrers, of Groby, and wife to David le Strabolgie (fourth of that name,) Earl of Athol. She is represented in the old French round dress, closely buttoned from the waist; her hair frizzed in three rows of curls surrounding her face, and hanging frizzed over her shoulders.
