Sandford Curate Register: Marriages 1838-1839, Page 44, Entry 88 Source: LDS Film 2356187 I have not located the birth record for William but he claimed he was born 11 Jun 1836 when he joined the Utah Militia and he gave his birth date as 11 Jun 1835 when he received his endowments. Both his birth dates were when his mother was married to Anthony Carlton. Esther claimed she was a widow when she married John Foster but I believe he abandoned her and William and Henry, her son out of wedlock and took their son Anthony and returned to his parents home.
